It’s AlivePosted by Eddie on the 18th February, 2008 |
My tampering with Ads by Google is working. Hurrah! It must only refresh the keywords every few days or so. Almost wish I hadn’t been so hasty now.
Sanitary pads. Period. The Curse.
Hehe. I can see I’m going to get a lot of amusement out of this.
On a completely unrelated topic, I’ve been looking for a satisfactory way to keep track of my new webcomics for a while. I had a system of bookmarking, rebookmarking and deleting but it was tedious and clumsy. I even tried some programmes designed specifically for the purpose, but they were rubbish. Frustratingly, RSS feeds didn’t please me either.
I just wanted a way to keep track of new webcomics with a minimal of fuss, and didn’t think I was asking too much.
But I’ve just found my answer; iGoogle. You make a Google account, they give you a customisable homepage and you can input RSS feeds, so any new comics appear on your homepage. And you click through to their website, so they’re not missing out on traffic. Simple, elegant and effective. In fact, I’ve just discovered, you can even do it by just clicking on this handy dandy button that Tjin added.
If anybody else has good systems for webcomics, I’m all ears. I believe Tjin uses Thunderbird quite successfully.
