I feel ashamed.Posted by Tjin on the 1st March, 2008 |
Well. A friend has just officially labelled me as a Microsoft fan boy. I need to shoot myself now.
It’s not that I tout Microsoft products, or sing their virtues - mostly it’s the opposite. To my friends it usually sounds like this: “WAAAAHHHHHH! Fukity fuk fuk fuk!”
Unfortunately it’s the default level of my IT abilities and skill set. Working at a small business with a pre-existing network, it’s all Windows - so that’s what I’ve learnt. At home, I’ve always wanted a Mac, but can’t afford the initial setup - PC’s are just cheaper to upgrade as I go. And Linux… I just can’t get it to do what I want it to do because code hurts my eyes.
At least I haven’t bought Vista yet…

If you were really a Microsoft fan-boy this site would be running ASP.NET on IIS on Windows Server 2003 — you would have insisted upon it. (And you’d be paying a lot more per-month for hosting, I dare say.)
I think the only fan boy here is your friend.
