  1. Pretty much true. It’s even more comical when it’s a mundane topic. e.g. OMG I NE3D H£lp, HOw CAnS I S@Ve DIS FILE! It AsKs ME WHERE TO SAVE, I JUST WANT TO SAVE, NOT M@Ke Dem n3w Filez.

Also there’s positive correlation between how little time it takes to find on google and their urgency.

  2. Yes, it’s true.

There are also the type who demand complete solutions. Heaven help you if you only provide meagre “general advice” or links to “helpful documentation”. How lazy of you to offer such meagre help when the poster clearly asked for a complete solution!

Sadly there’s always someone soft-hearted enough to help, but thankfully the lazy advice seeker is usually so inherently lacking in problem-solving skills that they can’t even implement the step-by-step solution.

BTW small spelling mistake on the comic — “desperation”.

  3. Holy Crap! A real update!

Anyway, this is why I often send friends and family members a link to http://lmgtfy.com/ before I help them with anything.
